Diana Leon Taylor - Trustee
Diana Leon Taylor is the founder and principle of Sage Group Consulting, which specializes in developing operating and marketing strategies for new and existing small to mid-size businesses, non-profit organizations and academic institutions. Diana’s experience spans approximately 14 years and encompasses a rich and diverse tapestry of skills and accomplishments.
Diana has been responsible for multi-faceted marketing campaigns that have encompassed research and communication, and have resulted in expanded markets in the United States and abroad. More specifically, she has managed marketing budgets and directed the development the of marketing materials and promotional videos for various product line; designed and conducted several research projects and statistical analysis (SPSS) for Beta and existing product lines, as well as developed the algorithms for a client segmentation models. Furthermore, Diana has developed marketing training modules, in the form of a “road show”, for sales force across the country on how to use the model and identify the products that would add the most value to their clients and customers. She has worked with Fortune 500 companies and the European Commission where she developed multicultural marketing strategies. She was instrumental in opening international markets for exporting surplus American products to Russia, South Africa, Bolivia, Brazil and West Indies.
Diana has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in Psychology and minor in Economics from Harvard University, a Masters of Science degree magna cum laude in Economics and Statistics as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) magna cum laude in International Business Marketing from the George Washington University School of Business.
In keeping with her commitment to public service, Diana dedicates much of her free time to organizations that promote and support the education and betterment of children and therefore serves on several Foundations and Boards, to include the Yolande Leon Foundation for Scholarship and Heritage, (a non-profit organization that she founded in honor of her grandmother) the National Presbyterian School, the Black Student Fund, and National Park Trust.
Diana lives in Potomac, Maryland with her husband and three children.
